Take Off

And we are off to Boston for the Halloween weekend to visit a good friend name “Chelo”. We are currently at the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and we are very excited to travel since our last trip back in October of 2020.

We arrived to Boston early than scheduled last night. We then met up with Chelo and we immediately went out for drinks. First stop, Tall Ship located at East Boston.The place by the bay holds an old ship with a bar in the middle of the deck. Out in the horizon, across the water the tall buildings rises with twinkling lights illuminating the bay like Christmas lights.

After spending a wonderful time by the water drinking cocktails and shots to elevate our spirits, we headed out to The Quiet Few as recommended by Yelp for some red wine and damn good cheeseburgers and fries.

Overall, the first day of the trip started off well. It ended with some delicious food that I highly recommend if you ever in Boston. Definitely check out The Quiet Few. Now we look forward to what’s next.

Today we visited the New England Aquarium with friends that we met up on the way. The aquarium showcased a variety of fishes and species that will definitely catch your eye.

Later that day we all went on foot to go sight seeing as we try to get a glimpse of what Boston has to offer. And for dinner, we all went to Lolita, a Mexican restaurant. The place has this Gothic vibe which really feels dark and youthful at the same time.

Today is Halloween eve and it's rainy and gloomy; 100% rain was forecasted for today. We are now on our way to Salem, MA to visit some witches and oddly creatures.

So it was raining when we arrived to Salem, despite of that, there was a lot people visiting different witch houses, souvenir shops and mueseums. I didn't take enough photos because of the rain but I manage to take a few. This place I definitely want to come back for more.

It’s Halloween and it’s a beautiful day to be outdoors. In the morning we spent our time touring Fitchburg and taking pictures. We later had a hearty breakfast at a local business called Northend Dinner. Definitely the place to grab some good food.

For the afternoon, we visited Barret Park and enjoyed a nice trek around the lake as we took some nice pictures. The colorful foliage was really beautiful and the camera loved it. I only used my iPhone 13 Pro as I didn’t make room for my Leica Q2 on this trip.

Finally, our last night of the trip we went back to Boston to see more of the city. We ended up having dinner at Tiki Rock, a bar and restaurant that I visited lastime I was here in the city almost 3 years ago.

And all things come to an end. Today we fly back to a scorching hot Puerto Rico. I really do need to get a new AC for the living room. Anyhow, we had a wonderful weekend with friends and we visited some cool places. Another unforgettable experience for sure.
